Here are the best outdoor activities and things to do and see in Santa Cruz de Tenerife including Parque García Sanabria, Playa de Las Teresitas, Parque de la Granja, Sendero de los Sentidos - Path of the Senses, Dinolandia, Canary Virtual (Centro de Realidad Virtual), Calle Castillo, García Sanabria City Park
Nice one hour walk on a partially covered path downhill. If you plan to go with a baby stroller then the track is passable all the way though end of track 3 is a great effort - we had to carry our stroller quite much. Many infostands and possibilities to listen to some audio tracks - from where and how, I do not know :), signs where there at least. Coffee shop there offers a small but tasty seslction of pastries.
Great little park, cafe at top does lovely food at reasonable prices. Flowers are fantastically vivid, trees impressive. Lots of interesting artwork and its all very clean and tidy. Surrounding buildings have some impressive architecture. Good stop for a bit of peace.
At the heart of the city of Santa Cruz! Beautifully kept. With playgrounds for children and nice cafes near by.
Entry is free if you have a hop on hop of bus ticket, though even if you paid the 6 euro entry you wouldn't be disappointed. Very clean and tidy with some good views. Everything is well planted and the signs provide interesting information in English. We enjoyed our visit and learned a little bit.
Amazing place. One of the best in Tenerife. Beautiful palms, butterflies, waterfalls and ocean views. Clean and calm environment.
Nice point to chill out. They have a small pool with a fountain at the centre. A nice place to sit and relax. The area is surrounded be numerous restaurants of all range. There you can take care of your appetite. At the night the surrounding buildings are lit up with changing lights. Next to the place is a the port of Santa Cruz. Overall a nice place for some relaxing walks.
Such an amazing experience with couple of mates I took with me from Czech republic, we really enjoyed it, it took shorter than we expected even if we went there really late but it was still sunny. Really easygoing way with signals everywhere. We reached a tree at the very end of a way and we stopped there because the way was getting harder and it was about to be night time soon and we didn't want to be there once it will get dark
